Why a car: We live in Etoile, 30 minutes by car from the nearest city. There are 2 dollar stores and a gas station. After, 4 months of petition I got a 12 to 15 hour a week job at the Family Dollar. My wife is paid for 10 hours a week to care for her ill mother. We are unable to afford a car for me to get a better job to better support my small family.

Testimony: I am not big on words bit I'll tell you. I grew up in dozens of different churches, none stuck. I got into lots of trouble with alcohol, drugs, and the law. One day, as I sat in Harris County jail I heard the inmates lamenting about they were all there through no fault of their own. Suddenly, the Holy Spirit convicted me. I was guilty. I could not run, I could not ignore Him, He had me dead to rights. I surrendered. It wasn't perfect, and I still struggle but Jesus Christ is my only hope for a life, a future, and an eternity with Him.

Why a car: Receiving a car would be a blessing to me because I’m a single mother trying to build a better, more stable life for myself and my son in Houston. Having reliable transportation would allow me to get to work, attend job interviews, take my son to school and medical appointments, and provide for our everyday needs without constantly worrying about how we will get around. I’m working hard to get back on my feet financially, and a car would remove a major barrier, open up more employment opportunities, and give my son and me a chance at a brighter, more secure future. This would be more than just a vehicle to us—it would be a blessing, a fresh start, and an opportunity to become more independent.

Testimony: Yes, I believe in Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior and believe in salvation through Him. My faith gives me hope, strength, and guidance through life’s challenges.

Also: Hello, my name is Alexis, and I live in Houston, Texas. I’m a mother looking for assistance with obtaining a free donated vehicle for my family. Reliable transportation would help me get to work, attend appointments, and take care of my child. I’m working toward financial stability and would appreciate the opportunity to apply for any vehicle donation program you have available. Could you please let me know the eligibility requirements and whether applications are currently open? Thank you.

Why a car: I was forced to retire in 2024 due to health issues. I applied for disability at that time, and I am waiting for a decision. I receive 70% of my retirement because of early retirement. Due to my disability I am unable to work. In 2025 I was working part time. I had a heart attack with heart failure and respiratory failure. I have been unable to work since then. I am living only on my SS and was unable to continue my high car payments. The bank refused to work out a lower payment schedule and repossessed my truck. I have been unable to save for a down payment for another vehicle. In order to save money I moved to Magnolia from Houston. I am an hour from my family. The cost of Uber/lyft is prohibitive, $30 to get to and from my Dr which is 3 miles away, and $60 (plus $30 office fee) to get 15 miles to my cardiologist. I have no friends willing to take me to get groceries or to the Dr. I suffer from depression and anxiety which has gotten worse. I am an RN and not being able to work has not helped my mental health. I thought I would be able to work at least until retirement age. I have been single for over 25 years and provided for myself. I had some money saved but used it in 2024 trying to keep up with bills. If I receive my disability it would take a year or two to save up enough to get a vehicle, without it I have been using every penny just to get by. I never thought I would be in this position.

Testimony: Jesus is my Lord and Savior. I have been using social media to get my bible study. Thank God for that avenue.

Also: I have not needed much financial help since I became a nurse in 1995. I am used to doing everything myself. Asking for help is difficult. I thank God for my daughter and son-in-law because they took care of me when I needed them. In 2017 they took me in for months after surgery and nursed me back to health. I am not catholic but I also thank God for my son-in-law’s mother who made it possible for my grandsons to go to catholic school and be brought up in the church. They are growing to be fine young men.

Why a car: Just move to Houston on my own with no family currently working two jobs trying to make sure I keep a roof over my head. I usually take the bus to my first job which is a little over an hour commute but after words going to my second job it’s about an hour and a half of commuting on bus and afterwords walking 40-45 minutes since there’s no routes near my second job. I’ve been doing this for a couple months now and have to spend 20 a night on Ubers to get home. It would really help me out so much and would help my boyfriend as well getting to his job. Just need something reliable.

Testimony: Keeping faith has gotten me through so much since I got here. I’ve beaten eviction gotten blessed with a second job to help pay my bills and working over 40 hours a week. Throughout all my trials although my life isn’t perfect. I have made sure I have kept faith that the lord will not steer me wrong and he hasn’t. I didn’t know things like this existed I’m hoping Jesus has pointed me in this direction for a reason.

Also: I’m really in need of a car I’ve been working my two jobs but since the price of everything is going up it’s hard to save up

Why a car: I am a single disabled mother of 7 . I am currently going through a custody case with an abusive ex that was abusive to me and the children. Having a car would help me get to and from court dates and appointments with my attorney. As well as to doctor appointments for the children and myself. I have to see a neurologist monthly due to a prior neck fracture from 2023 and some of my children have to see a counselor in Conroe biweekly due to abuse from my ex. Having a car would be a blessing for my family as we wouldnt have to fully rely on my disabled mother being our transportation everywhere. This would also allow me to get out more and take my children more places they can enjoy as well.

Testimony: i believe Jesus our Savior has final say in everything in our lives. I believed he would make a way for me to get free of my last relationship and free myself and my children from that mans abuse. and I still believe Jesus will free us in long term and protect my children and I from any further abuse and trauma as we go through this custody case.

Why a car: Receiving a donated vehicle would be the bridge between the life I'm working to leave and the one I'm building. I currently work full-time in medical records, and I'm launching a magazine with a six-person team on a very small budget. Reliable transportation is the bottleneck holding it all back. With a vehicle, I could meet with contributors, cover stories, distribute issues, and show up for my community — the work a magazine actually requires. It would let me step back from full-time medical records and give the magazine the full-time leadership it needs to grow into something that supports my whole team and serves our readers. It wouldn't just be a car. It would be the thing that turns a side project into a livelihood.

Testimony: Jesus is my anchor and provider. I came to know Him at five years old, a child in foster care. In a season of life where so much was uncertain, He became the one constant I could hold onto — and He has been that constant ever since. Since then, He has carried me through every season, given me purpose, and changed how I see the world. That purpose is what drives me today. Right now, as I'm stepping out in faith to build this magazine — and trusting Him with the transition from my job in medical records — He is the One opening doors. I believe this vehicle is one of those doors. He is the reason I trust this next step, and the reason I know this story is bigger than me. Thank you for reading.

Also: Yes. I'm launching a magazine with a six-person team, and it's about more than publishing — it's about serving my community. The magazine is connected to meetings I organize and attend that are geared toward bringing jobs to people in our community: connecting job seekers with opportunity and giving local employers and organizations a platform. Right now, transportation limits how much of that work I can do. With a reliable vehicle, I could attend and organize those meetings consistently, show up for my team, and continue volunteering here in the city of Houston — work that matters deeply to me. I'm currently working full-time in medical records while building all of this, and this vehicle wouldn't just help me get around — it would help me pour more into my community.

Why a car: Receiving a car would be a blessing because it would help me get my kids to school, get to work on time, and take care of my family’s daily needs. It would give us reliable transportation and take a lot of stress off my shoulders.

Testimony: ChatGPT said: Jesus is my Lord and Savior, my source of hope, peace, and strength. I believe He died for our sins and rose again so that we may have eternal life. My faith reminds me to trust God through every season of life, even when things are difficult. I strive to live according to His Word, show love to others, and grow closer to Him each day. Jesus is my foundation, and I am grateful for His grace, mercy, and unfailing love.

Also: am in urgent need of a reliable car, as transportation would make a significant difference in my daily life and help me get to work, attend appointments, and meet my basic responsibilities. Unfortunately, my current situation makes it difficult for me to afford a vehicle on my own. Any assistance, whether through a donated car or financial support, would be a tremendous blessing. I would be truly grateful for this opportunity and would not take it for granted. Thank you for your kindness, understanding, and consideration. God bless you.

Why a car: Receiving a car would be an incredible blessing because it would provide much-needed stability during a difficult and unexpected setback in my life. I am 24 years old, financially independent, and currently working full-time as a Patient Care Technician in the Intensive Care Unit at Memorial Hermann while attending Houston Community College to complete my prerequisites for nursing school. I recently lost my vehicle, which has made it significantly harder to manage my responsibilities and maintain reliable transportation. I depend on being able to get to work consistently to support myself, pay my bills, and continue pursuing my education. Without a vehicle, I face additional financial strain and uncertainty at a time when I am working hard to build a better future for myself. I have overcome several personal and financial challenges to get to where I am today, and I am determined not to let this setback derail my progress. My ultimate goal is to become a registered nurse and continue serving patients in my community. Receiving a reliable vehicle would mean much more than simply having transportation. It would give me peace of mind, help protect the independence I have worked so hard to establish, and allow me to focus on my education, career, and financial stability instead of worrying about how I will get to work or school. I would be genuinely grateful for this opportunity, and I would do everything I could to take care of the vehicle and make the most of the assistance provided.

Testimony: Having been raised Catholic, Jesus Christ has been a familiar figure throughout much of my life. Although my relationship with religion has evolved as I've gotten older, I still view Jesus as a symbol of compassion, humility, forgiveness, and selfless service to others. His teachings about loving your neighbor, helping those in need, and treating others with kindness continue to resonate with me. Through my work in healthcare, I try to embody those principles by caring for people during some of their most vulnerable moments. While I am still exploring my personal beliefs, I have a great deal of respect for the example Jesus set and the values his teachings continue to inspire.

Also: I am 24 years old, financially independent, and currently working full-time in the ICU at Memorial Hermann while attending college to pursue a career in nursing. Recently losing my vehicle has created an unexpected hardship, making it difficult to balance work, school, and essential expenses. I am doing everything I can to maintain the stability I have worked hard to build. Receiving a reliable vehicle would help me continue my education, maintain my employment, and work toward a better future. I would be incredibly grateful for this opportunity.

Why a car: Receiving a car would be a tremendous blessing to me and my two boys because it would give us a chance to regain stability during one of the hardest seasons of our lives. I am currently working at UPS and doing everything I can to provide for my children, but without reliable transportation, keeping my job and meeting my family’s basic needs has become incredibly difficult. We are currently experiencing housing instability and staying in a hotel, and the financial strain of trying to cover our basic expenses while figuring out transportation has been overwhelming. A donated vehicle would mean more than just having a way to get from one place to another. It would mean being able to get to work consistently, provide for my children, attend appointments, and search for stable housing without constantly worrying about how we will get there. It would give me the opportunity to save money instead of spending what little I have trying to get by, and it would help me work toward a better, more secure future for my family. I am not looking for someone to solve all of my problems; I am asking for an opportunity to get back on my feet. Receiving a car would give me the support I need to keep working, care for my children, and continue pushing toward stability.

Testimony: Jesus is my Savior, my provider, and my source of hope, especially during the hardest seasons of my life. Recently, I was facing the possibility of not being able to extend my hotel stay because I had no money, no one I could borrow from, and no loan options available. As I was walking to the front desk to discuss my options, I checked Cash App and discovered that my borrowing limit had increased. What made this so meaningful to me was that even when I was working overtime and earning more money, my limit had never increased. In that moment, I felt God reminding me that I was not forgotten and that He could make a way when I could not see one. This experience strengthened my faith and reminded me that Jesus is present even when life feels overwhelming. I am still trusting Him to guide me, provide for my family, and lead us into a more stable season. To me, Jesus is the one I can turn to when I have nowhere else to turn, and my faith in Him gives me hope to keep going even when I don't know how everything will work out.

Also: I would like you to know that although my family is currently going through a difficult season, I have not given up on creating a better life for my children. I am a mother of two boys, and everything I do is with their future in mind. I am currently working at UPS and doing my best to remain employed and provide for my family while navigating housing instability and the loss of reliable transportation. My mother is also staying with us, and I am trying to find a way for all of us to get back on our feet. My faith in Jesus has been helping me hold on to hope through this experience. I know that receiving a vehicle would not solve every challenge we face, but it would remove a major barrier and give me a better opportunity to work consistently, save money, and find stable housing for my family. I am willing to put in the work and take responsibility for this opportunity. I am simply asking for a chance to regain some stability and continue building a better future for my children. Thank you for taking the time to consider my application and for the work you do to help families like mine.

Why a car: I am moving out unexpectedly and I used to rely on my parents driving me to and from work but now that I am on my own I need a car

Testimony: I was saved summer of 2025 at a church camp going into my senior year of highschool. Before giving my life to christ I was stuck in sin of lying and sneaking around my parents. I was so ashamed. God met me that night at church camp and told me i was loved and forgiven. My sins where as far as the east is to the west forgotten.

Also: I am only 19 but I work really hard and I’m working on changing my life style
